Were you writing perfect songs when you cam out of the hospital? Seriously, dude, you have a beautiful gift. I cannot stress that enough.

LOL! Not so much. My first song was...Less than stellar. Some of my old works are cringe-worthy. I've come a LONG way since a few years ago. Music Theory has been a big help, along with simply getting more experience with each song I've composed.

It comes with a LOT of practice. Composing takes experience along with talent. ;)
It just takes a lot of hard work, patience, and a decent ear for music.

Sad music is definitely my forte. I love the fact that it doesn't need to be complicated or involve many instruments. It can be powerful with but a simple piano line that is carefully composed. :)
